Caramel Apples Slices on a stick are a major game changer. They are so delicious and east to eat in slices that I never want to have to bite into a big caramel apple again!
To get into the fall mood I decided to make some Caramel Apple slices with various toppings. They are absolutely perfect to make with the kiddos or just together for an at home date night.

What you Need:
- Apples (The bigger the better)
- Popsicle Sticks or Cake Pop Sticks
- Kraft Caramel Bits
- Wilton or Merckens candy Melts (Various colors)
- Nut Toppings
- Parchment Paper
How to Easy to Eat Caramel Apple Slices:
Begin by cleaning your apples, slicing them to the thickness you prefer and inserting the stick. You can core the apple if you would like. I decided to leave mine in there and eat around it.
Next, ensure each slice is dried thoroughly with a paper towel. Any moisture will cause the chocolate and caramel to slide right off.
In two small pans, melt the caramel and chocolate. Turn off the heat and Remove both of the pans from the stove.
Using a spoon, coat each slice with caramel or chocolate. Then, lay them onto the parchment paper and transfer them to the freezer (Before cooling you can now apply any toppings you would like to ensure they stick to the chocolate and caramel).
If you are dipping them in caramel first, you will want to coat them with chocolate as well to prevent the moisture in the apple from causing the caramel to run off. I found that drizzling chocolate over them or dipping them in chocolate as well helped keep the caramel coated to the apple.
Let them cool in the freezer for at least 30 minutes. Once they have hardened you can apply chocolate drizzle, sprinkles or caramel sauce.
You can get very creative with your decor and make mummies, spiderwebs or brightly colored apples with different colored chocolates. The turtle inspired apples drizzled with caramel and topped with nuts are my absolute favorite!
